QUESTION: Is there anything we can do that would be Un-Forgivable?
We often have this inner desire to walk as close to the line of trouble as we possibly can walk, without crossing it at times … even though we know that if we happen to slip and fall, there’s consequences on the other side.
We do it in friendships, in dating relationships, w/ our families … w/ our finances at times … and even in our relationship w/ God.
We can’t Out-Sin God’s Grace. Make no mistake, we can choose to walk In-Flesh vs. walking In-Christ, and the results of our Flesh can prohibit us from experiencing the Abundant Life God shares that He so desires for us.
So there is absolutely consequences of our choices for sure. However, we can’t Out-Sin God’s Grace either! There is no way we can disobey enough to warrant God’s rejection!
We can’t break so many rules that God says, You know what, I’m done w/ Ken … and I for one am so thankful!
- WE LIKE HAVING SOME RULES.
- WHAT ARE THE RULES?
- BACKGROUND OF THE STORY
- THE UN-FORGIVABLE SIN
Those who REPENT, and exchange our lives w/ the Life, Death & Resurrection of Jesus … we do that under the influence of The Holy Spirit. If we don’t accept the role of The Holy Spirit in our life … we’ll never repent,
The Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is a continual act of resistance, that belittles the Holy Spirit so grievously that He withdraws forever, rendering us unable to REPENT.
And I can’t speak for you, but I don’t want anyone to ever land there!
I’ve had conversations w/ people who …
- … became too intellectual for children’s stories
- … became too old or mature to believe in Miracles
… and their heart became so hardened that it was almost as if you could literally see what Jesus is saying here happen right in front of you.
