Real Faith is looking at our reflection in the mirror of God’s Word, and then aligning ourselves to THAT IMAGE.
James is a Letter about Seeing our Faith thru a Real Life Lens, and we’re going to acknowledge some of the Pressure Points that come w/ navigating life as a Follower of Christ.
James chapter 1 … we discover that we don’t have to abandon our Faith to be able to Persevere through the Suffering and Challenges in our lives.
We often think of Suffering as something that happens to us apart from God’s rescue plan. In James 1:1-4, we actually discover that it is a part of God’s Redemption. The Pressure that we experience from various trials in our lives actually produces Growth in us, and carves away Flesh in our lives so that we look more like Jesus!
